The duck presence is not as festive as yester years over the same period. There were some Tufted Ducks, and the usual crowd of regulars ie. Mallards, pigeons, gulls and swans. There was a solo Moorhen and cormorant but there were no signs of Scaup, Goldeneye or anything else.
Maybe as the winter progressed further and the temperature falls down further, the ducks will start congregating as they usually do in winter time to escape the harsher conditions further north. But then again if winter isnt too cold maybe it won't be as festive as usual. Lets hope.
